The Door / Window Detector is designed to be used indoors.
(It can also be used within external buildings such as sheds or workshops).
When mounted it can monitor doors, windows, cabinets, etc. - any door or window
that opens.
When the door or window is opened and the magnetic contact is separated, the
detector will transmit a signal to the Control Panel.
PIR's are sensitive to the heat generated by human bodies, and are triggered
when a person moves within the detection area of the sensor.
